Nutrition and Health

I believe eating plays an integral role in having a healthy lifestyle. However, you need to employ other practices to achieve your wellness goals. My philosophy is that health is like a complete triangle—each piece makes you whole and the top tip become your best self.

Food and a Balanced Diet

You don’t need a rigid diet and schedule to feel your best. To be truly healthy, you should nourish your body with a balanced meal. This includes eating whole foods such as fibrous vegetables, lean proteins, healthy carbohydrates, and the right fats. Of course, you can treat yourself to your favorite food from time to time.

Exercise

Exercising is not only for people who want to lose weight; it is for everyone. It increases blood circulation, can keep your bones strong, lowers stress and risk of getting diseases. Additionally, it allows you to maintain a healthy weight and make you feel great throughout the day.

Sleep and De-Stress

Most people underestimate the power of resting. Sleeping helps your body recuperate and balances your hormones. Finding your center is beneficial for both your mental and physical health. That is why you should listen to your body whenever it tells you to relax. You can take a walk, meditate, or do yoga (among others) to release tension and thwart stress.

Visualize Good Things

Reaching your goal is a step-by-step process. Nobody gets to reach their goal after a day, so don’t fret about what you could’ve done and what you don’t have yet. Take it one step at a time! Appreciate good happenings, celebrate your small wins, and visualize your goal. Let your thoughts attract what you desire.

Help Others and Find Your Inner Child

Have you ever noticed how children don’t overthink situations? We can be like that too! Finding and doing what makes you happy is beneficial for your well-being. As you’re searching for your passions, it wouldn’t hurt to help others along the way.
